14 Presenters Received the Best Presentation Award at the 3rd IGPR Symposium
On November 6th, the 3rd IGPR Symposium was held at Nishi-Chiba campus, and about 200 people attended this event.
In this year, 74 presenters consisting of junior researchers and graduate students explained the summary of each research project and then performed poster presentations.
In his keynote speech, Professor Takeshi Murata from the Graduate School of Science shared some tips for being productive in the process of research and exchanged opinions with students.
Finally, 14 people were selected as winners of the Best Presentation Award and Dr. Takeshi Tokuhisa, President of Chiba University, presented a certificate of commendation to each winner.
The symposium was closed by the remarks from Prof. Minoru Seki, Head of Management Division of IGPR, said: “in this yearly symposium, we would like to encourage everyone to brush up a skill for communicating about your research quickly and effectively to the people having different backgrounds.”
